I loved the book "Deep Lake House" by DJ Geribo. It was so interesting hearing the stories about the people who came to vacation at the 210 year old house from the house itself. They were good people and bad people, happy and sad people, some of their stories spanning decades. Especially interesting was how their lives evolved along with the world events over the years. It's hard to put this book down right from the beginning.

I enjoyed Deep Lake House very much. I like the house as narrator. Characters come to life. Great memories of similar venues I’ve stayed at over the years. Maisey and Mitchell made me cry. Thank you DJ for a great read.

The Mart is easy to read with details that bring back nostalgic memories of the 1960s and 70s while still being relevant to the present. It has an underlying suspense that keeps you wondering. I love the unique idea of the stories following the novel and the way they all relate to one another. I felt that I had met a lot of people by the end of the stories. It's one of those books you hate to put down. Fun and memorable. I loved it.

Light, enjoyable read. The author truly captured the many moods, personalities, and wealth of stories that can be found in most large retail environments, and spun it all into an addictive page turner.

Loved it! It was wonderful to see imaginations at work, and the value of strong family relations. It was fun to read, yet had some good life lessons in it, too. I hope the children find more adventures to share with us.

Great book! Even though this book is written for the young teenager, I found that it kept my interest throughout, and I enjoyed it immensely! Am looking forward to the next book! (I bought this book to save for our grandson when he gets a little older but when I read it, I realized that I still enjoyed books which are written for younger readers.)

Living amongst farmlands, my house is surrounded by soybeans this year. It gave me the perfect image of what I imagine the top of the trees to look like. I "enjoyed the ride," but feel like the journey has not ended. The writer left me with lots of unanswered questions; the perfect set up for a sequel!!
